Received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Canisius College in 1998 and graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2003. She completed her residency at the Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo in June 2006.

Dr. Marin Dawson joined Acadiana Pediatrics on June 18, 2012. She began her journey into the field of medicine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. She was accepted into medical school at Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale in 2000. Following her graduation from medical school, she entered the Pediatrics Residency program at Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital in Orlando. Dr. Dawson has over 30 years experience in family practice and pediatrics in Acadia parish.
